Moreover, this powerful Windows Blu-ray Player also offers you to personalize your settings. It helps you play Blu-ray movies as well as all the other disks and video formats on your PC easily. Windows Blu-ray Player is a professional Windows Blu-ray Player which can compatible with Windows Vista, XP, Windows 7 and the newly unleashed Windows 8. Play Blu-ray Disc with Windows Blu-ray Player You are lucky to find the Windows Blu-ray Player. You just need simplicity in your free time. What bothers you a lot is that you have found most DVD video player software cannot play Blu-ray discs at all or they might play after complicated settings and app downloads. Now I can plug in the portable player and watch a Blu-ray on my computer, no problems anymore! It’s really nearly impossible to watch modern BluRay DRMed videos from the big Hollywood producers without buying a program that has a proper license, save yourselves a lot of trouble and give this one a chance.Although you have a special feeling to the classic way to watch a movie on DVDs, you are definitely unwilling to miss the high quality enjoyment that only Blu-ray can bring you. I am using a very low-cost Pioneer BDR-XD05B bluray drive, and it works with no issues at all with my library of movies. I am happy to say it works great! Exactly same thing as the demo but no watermark. I chose to get it through the App store since we need it on a couple different computers. I found that the Apple version allows family sharing, while the developer website version is a bit cheaper but only grants a single license. There’s even a free version of the app on the web that puts a little watermark in the middle of the screen - you can double check that it all works fine with your movies/player. I had a lot of trouble finding a good way to play BluRay movies on my Mac, till I found this app. We've seen similar drives on the market, they work with file access, disc burning, VUDU service, some of media players, but they do NOT work with PowerDVD or Macgo (v3+), which requires AACS authentication. Some of the reviews on Amazon said that the drive model does not work with PowerDVD. I think there is an problem with your Blu-ray drive model. I’ll let the support team to reach you and collect some information such as version number of the trial version, Blu-ray drive model number. It is a strange issue because the Blu-ray playback features are built with the same source codes. I’m sorry to hear that the App Store version doesn’t work but the Trial version works. I’m amending my stars based on how responsive the developer was. I thought buying from Apple would be the easiest thing, and boy was I wrong. If you’ve tried a trial of standard and want to purchase, DO NOT BUY IT HERE. Which is great, because that’s all I wanted. The actual standard version, downloaded from the developer’s website, works fine for me. Standard is v.2.x.x.x while Pro is v3.3, as you see in this listing. I tried to report a problem to the app store, but Apple doesn’t care.Īfter much back and forth with the developer, who I contacted by email when I wrote this review, we’ve determined that what is listed under standard here is actual the pro version of the app. I have emailed Macgo support and not heard back. I really, really, really wish I’d checked these reviews, because this was a lot of money for a useless app. Sometimes it says disc verification failed. Sometimes it says to unplug the drive and try again. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for thiis on the app store and it refuses to read my discs. I downloaded the trial off the Macgo website and it was great.
